Monoprice THX-365C THX Certified Ultra Center Channel Speaker (Each) - Monolith

Audiophile quality / Very reasonable price point .

This is the center channel between two Monolith THX-460T tower speakers. The following is a review of all three since they were installed at the same time. These replaced a very high end set of super-tower speakers that included powered subwoofers. These new Monolith speakers provide a level of detail and clarity that I have never personally experienced until now. There is a lot to like but I'm not going to get long winded. The 2-inch "midrange" adds a different dynamic from the typical designs that usually include 4-6 inch speakers placed on either side of a single tweeter. The end result is crystal clear dialogue, even at lower volumes. The other huge thing I noticed is a very wide dispersion angle of all sound ranges. The sweet spot is now all over the room. Enough said.. Just buy them.

I have several watches and this one is my favorite.

I have another one of these in a different color and I liked it well enough to add a second. These are extremely light weight and comfortable. It's a shame that they don't sell this model in the U.S. There are similar watches sold as 'satellite wave'. However, this version of the Atessa has never been available.
