Not worth the hype
1 of 1 found this helpful The 1953 model for me is just okay. It's still an automatic watch with a good quality movement for just over $100, so I can't complain too much I suppose. That said, my purchase had some imperfections in the bezel, and the alignment in the bezel with the face was slightly off. Not that you'd notice from a distance, but this would likely annoy any watch collector. The bezel also has some backplay. I actually like my pro diver better, except for the Invicta branding on the side of the case - the best thing about the 1953 is that they decided to leave that off. Not a terrible watch, but don't pay a #3-4X scalper price...
