Disappointed
0 of 1 found this helpful I got this book for my dad, it was recommended by a friend. They both are Andy Griffith Show Fans. My dad never finished reading it. He said it had to many curse words, and also it, to him just took away the good side of the Andy Griffith Show. Sometimes we are better of not knowing what a person was like “off screen”. They led typical Hollywood lives, but it’s just sad because, Andy and Don vs Andy and Barney are 2 different sets of people.

Very good show!!
I bought this season for my brother and sister in law. I have all the seasons myself. The DVD set I have used closed captioning so our TVG cuts out the few bad words, scattered throughout the shows 9 seasons. This updated “digitally restored” version uses Subtitles instead of Closed Caption so TVG doesn’t work. But as a whole the show is very good. One of my favorite shows.

1 of 1 found this helpful I️ would have liked the Blu-ray edition but it used SDH instead of CC subtitles. My TV Guardian uses CC. So I️ bought this remastered dvd edition since it uses closed captions s Anyway I️ haven’t started watching mine yet, but was recommended from my brother, he really likes it.
