Does everthing a single action will do
But you get beter control for fine work or fading but will have to run higher pressure than gravity feed

great for home use
it works great as long as you dont want to shred alot at one time.perfect for shreding junk mail very reliable should be able to get many years of use in home.had one from same company price was good. had old macine for 5 years shredded alot with it.wanted same company because of reliabilty.older one was abused in the fact that it shredded boxes of old recipts from years gone by back then they didnt care about the trees.all were shreded for recycling purposes makes you feel good knowing it will be put back to use.
