versatile console with great games
as a foreword, i use the switch exclusively as a handheld.
that being said, i really enjoy this system. the graphics are lovely, as is the sound. i find the size of it (with the joycons attached) to be quite comfortable- my hands don't feel squished together like they do on regular handhelds. the only downsides for me are the weight (it weighs considerably more than it looks like it should, maybe twice as much as a 3ds), and the battery life. i haven't tried to properly time it yet, but it seems like the battery only lasts about 2-3 hours before i have to plug it in again. this isn't particularly an issue at home, but if you got it for traveling, i'm not too sure how feasible it would be. overall i think it's an amazing system, though, and definitely recommend it if the games for it appeal to you. i've spent several days on it so far, and the only reason it isn't more is because i'm trying to be productive, too.

i bought one as a present for a friend, but it's a really nice size and weight, so i want to buy myself one, too.
