Beautiful Bible for All Ages
6 of 6 found this helpful Amazing illustrations my 5yo pores over. Nice sized text so she can begin reading this Bible with me easily as her reading skills develop, but not so large that it annoys me. I dislike trying to read oversized text. I wanted a beautiful Bible without all the study notes and whatnot that the majority of Bibles have for straightforward family Bible reading. This fits the bill exactly!

Great Reader with Quality Traditional Stories
1 of 1 found this helpful I am more than pleased with the content of this reader, indeed, of the entire series of readers. They have marvelous content and are graded appropriately. They do not contain any of the "extras" that are typical of old readers, such as McGuffey's. This keeps them neat and clean, very appealing, both visually and content-wise.
The only caveat is that,personally, I prefer the hard covers, even though they are older. They are more satisfying to hold and turn pages in than these more recent soft covers. However, this is my personal preference and, in the end, I will make final decisions based on overall condition and price.
