the heart of a Bishop
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought this book through the recommendation of a friend who heard the Audiophile version. Having read much of the writings of Pope John Paul II, I consider this book one of his best. "Rise, Let Us Be on Our Way" is not your typical JPII Book, Memoirs, Encyclical, Motu Proprio, Collections, Reflections or writings. It is about him speaking (and reflecting) as a Bishop before he became a Cardinal and a Pope. He invites you to travel with him on his journey to Episcopacy from a river in Poland to See of Peter. He spoke of his fears, worries, hesitations as well as his inspirations and the encouragements he found along the way. He goes back to particular events in his life as young Bishop and reflects on these events in light of the Gospel message, teaching and traditions of the Church. He puts into context (German: sitz im leiben) his episcopal ministry and dwells in the moment to discover God speaking to him through others. He allows you to see through his eyes all the pains and sorrows that he went through, as well as the joys and happiness he experienced in the fleeting moments of his life. His words will make you understand what a Bishop is and should in light of the Apostolic tradition and as Jesus would have deemed episcopacy to be. This is almost like the "Red Book" for Bishops and the ecclesiastical version of "Everything you have always wanted to know about Bishops but were afraid to ask". In sum, this is Pope John Paul's farewell gift to us -- the story about a man who became a Priest, made a Bishop, and elected as Pope. This is his story. This is what a Bishop is to his priests and people.

Poorly Written Manual/ Customer Assistance
The product came in with some assembly required. The Manual that it came in with didn't have the make & model of the product in its instructions. When I called the Vilano site for assistance, the person simply wants me to register and bring the product to a shop to be professionally assembled, No assistance or help at all. For almost a $400 bike, the company could do better. I won't recommend this as a DIY or mail-order item.

A morning life-saver!
Before heading to my planned 12-day Central European tour last June, I bought this water heater. Having to Europe multiple times, I knew that many hotels don’t have standard Keurig for coffee (mostly Espresso) or hot water kettle. This item worked so well for what I need! Thanks for the instructions (and warning) & adapter that came with it. I highly recommend to all!
