A Great Region Free Player from LG
In the market for a TRUE Region Free DVD player, but don't have a lot budgeted for it ? This IS the answer! LG products are know for their dependability, and this compact machine appears to be well built and do everything I'd hoped and more. Off to a great start: easy hookup/setup, plays EVERYTHING from any source material you feed it, simple operation and user's manual is a snap to navigate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this machine, No frills, but who cares............... it does exactly what I wanted; Play international DVDs!

Bowie's Berlin Brilliance.................(and more!)
1 of 1 found this helpful David Bowie: ARTIST! This man's talent, scope, and depth will never cease to amaze me, very few have even attempted to reach his body of work. One of my favorite eras from his nearly 50(!) years of public creativity has to be the nearly tragic period in Berlin..............things could of ended much differently, thankfully they did not. A change in musical taste, mood, lifestyle, interests, and who knows what else may have fueled Bowie, along with Pop and Reed, into some of the finest works of this long and winding (albeit dangerous) road. LOW is the departure album to beat here, but HEROES certainly has stood the test of time. The "new album herein, RECALL3 has many oddities, and alone warrants owning this set. AN ABSOLUTE MUST, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Three Classics from a Great Artist
All three of these albums are chock full of great songs from a Lady who went on to have a huge career. These are from the late 90's - early 2000 timeframe, and each shows a progression in confidence in both song selection and performance, culminating with her signature tune, "I Hope You Dance".....Side note: Did you know there's an inspirational book available that goes along with IHYD? Me neither 'til recently, great title for both fans and those not familiar with her music.................HIGHLY RECOMMEND all three CD's as well as the book; ENJOY!!
