Canon Powershot A480 10Mp digital camera
1 of 1 found this helpful I like everything about this camera! It is smaller than my old Canon digital camera, yet it has a much larger LCD screen than my old one had. It also seems like it isn't such a "battery hog" like my old camera. I took the rechargeable batteries out of my old camera-without charging them & put them in this new A480 camera & have not had them run down yet! It has been about 3 weeks since I put the batteries in! I also like the mechanical zoom, where my old camera only had digital zoom. There is nothing I dislike about it. I like the black color of it, where all the digitals I had before were silver colored. I decided to purchase the A480 because I had had my older Canon digital for about 6 years & wanted something newer & with more bells & whistles. I now have room for extra batteries in my camera bag, because of the smaller size of the A480. Overall it was a wise buy!

The Laptop I needed all along........
HP- in it's time-honored tradition of Quality, has built a one of a kind great laptop in the DV7-1261! It has all the features anyone would want & more! My older laptop was an HP DV6 & it didn't have the numeric keyboard. Now the numeric keyboard isn't really necessary if you don't work with numbers on your laptop, but is handy when you have to make an expense report. I also absolutely love the 17" LCD screen! My older HP only had a 15". It is smooth & quiet-running...AND FAST, with the AMD Turion X2 processor & ATI graphics built in. Add to that the Blue Ray DVD player/recorder, the 3 USB ports, the multi card reader & HDMI, VGA, etc. ports and you have an HP DV7 in your hands!

Great for learning physics principles, inertia, Newton's Laws etc
