Best of all compromises
1 of 1 found this helpful my Tamron 150-600mm G2 lens meets all expectations. the lens behaves as specified. test shots indoors, using tripod and mirror lockup, still required a minimum shutter speed to get sharp pictures at the long end; to achieve proper exposure with these slow apertures requires a higher ISO/low noise (good low light) camera.
I cannot comment on the Tap-in console, as I have not performed any focus testing yet to determine if lens corrections are necessary.
