Motorola Ear Piece
Works great. Can hear perfectly. Also fits my Kenwood Walkie, although I use in my County Issued Motorola, I highly recommend it for even the small family style radios. Clips hold to uniform well. Microphone cable is long enough.

Garmin Nuvi 255W as a Vehicle mounted GPS
14 of 16 found this helpful I have owned (currently) 2 Garmin Nuvi 250W units and have had such great service from them, I decided to step up a notch to the newer 255W version. So I bought a third one for my daughter's car. Although these Garmin units are "The old body style" (meaning a couple of years old technolgy wise) they are still wonderful units. They are very user friendly and have plenty of options even when compared to newer styles that are currently being sold in front line stores today (May 2010), Best Buy, Sams Club, Costco, etc. You should consider one of these units compared to the newer styles and save yourself a hundred dollars. If the maps have been updated within 2 years or less, I doubt you will get so lost you can't find your way in a tight spot. They are affordable enough that every vehicle in your stable should have one. You may not use one daily, but when traffic comes to a sudden stop, a detour is sometimes unavoidable. Yet, with a GPS (any older one included)you just select the detour route and continue on your way, with little worry you will get lost. I wish that it was somewhat water resistant, in the event I was using it hand held in slightly bad weather, but any good "ZIPLOCK" baggie will actually protect you there.
