Lid didn't work!
Got the trash can, put in the batteries and turned the unit on and the lid opened and stayed open. It would no close by using the control buttons located on the top of the cover so I read the instruction pamphlet and it said to never force the lid closed with your hand while the unit was turned on. I turned the unit off and closed the lid by hand and turned the unit back on and the lid opened again. This unit never operated properly out of the box! I contacted Ebay and the next day and the distributor contacted me telling me that a replacement lid was being sent. It's been 3 days and I'm still waiting for it....

A3 Chinese Box does the job
Received box within 5 business days. Nicely packaged. Easy setup, works great and picture is sharp. Sound quality and sound levels change from one program to another on TV speakers, home theater is better. One thing I noticed was that the fast forward did not work on some programming, it would go back to the last location...I tried numerous times with the same results. The controller is adequate but cheaply made, the buttons on center navigation pad are not very well defined, easy to select a wrong command.
