Very good monitor earphones. Excellent audio quality.
2 of 4 found this helpful I owned both shure SE215 and SE425 earphones. After trying out both, I would conclude that it is better to save the money from SE215 and get the SE425. The main difference is the SE425 has more solid audio quality. The frequency is more equally distributed compare to the 215. I am able to hear more "sound" with the 425, it is more clear. In term of bass, it is ok, but it is not a heavy bass earphones. It takes some times to get use to wearing it and fitting it on my ears. But after that, comfort is not a issue.

Not bad, but not enough.
First of all, this earphones is NOT suitable for bass lover. Strong in mid and high. Ok for the bass. The sound is clear and quality is very good for a single driver headphone. It is perfect for listening to live concerts. But if you prefer heavy bass, beats is better. After listening thru this earphones, I have an urge to get the SE425, dual driver earphones. This earphones makes me feel what good sound is like but not yet there and makes me want for more.

Excellent products
It works well with the MacBook Pro. All the ports work as it’s described. It can charge the MacBook Pro the same time as I also use other USB ports and the HDMI outlet.
