Defective battery.
Battery was dead. It never worked and was not able to be recharged.

Best umbrella adapter!
I've tried many umbrella adapters and this one is the best. There are many reasons I like this adapter, but one main reason is that the umbrella shaft hole is as closest it can get to the cold shoe of the adapter so the flash is as close to the center of the umbrella as it can get. Other umbrella adapters I've tried had more distance between the hole and the cold shoe and so the flash was another inch or further away from the center of the umbrella which made a difference in the spread of light for 36"- 44" umbrellas that I use.
I made two modifications to this adapter for for a more convenient and faster setup. I changed the knob that tightens the umbrella with one that is similar to the other knobs because it was hard to turn when trying to release the umbrella. I also switched the cold shoe to a locking cold shoe that locks in flash's foot as soon as it is pushed into the shoe. I have only seen that cold shoe at B&H and it is called the RPS locking shoe.

Excellent Microphone
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the best microphone in this price range and better than many more expensive microphones. I also love that it has a battery and I can connect it to the camera and use it without phantom power.
