Fujifilm Instax 200 - the new polaroid
Given that the instant Polaroid cameras have rapidly become obselete as a result of problems with film manufacturing, the Fujifilm instax 200 proves to be a valuable and timely replacement. Although the picture format is different to the old Polaroid, it's rectangular rather than square, it does allow both landscape and portrait photos to be taken, which is a novelty for the Polaroid instant film user. Picture quality seems to be very similar to Polaroids, always flattering, with films priced roughly the same. One downside is that it does require separate batteries (2AA) which adds to the weight (not that 'lightweight' can really be applied to this camera). Despite its quirky, comical enormity, the Fujifilm Instax 200 is attractive, functional, and a great camera for capturing the moment.
