A binocular for serious users.
I do not understand anyone finding fault with the weight of these binoculars. They are after all 25x100mm The front lenses glass(Objective lenses) weigh over 1lb a piece all by themselves. These are big well made binoculars that also have bigger prisms than most binos in their class. You can NOT hold them by hand. You need a well made tripod or a good Monopole. I understand this pair of binoculars because I repair them and ones like them for a living as well as other optical devices. Just lookup SiebertOptics. I used these after I repaired them and was very impressed with the optical quality for a binocular in the price class. You can not go wrong with these. That said not all the SkyMaster 100mm are made the same. The ones that are the uno-body are the better ones. Not all have the larger prisms inside. Harry
