Wrong software loaded on Printer
1 of 1 found this helpful We ordered the HP OfficeJet 8600 to complement a number of other HP8600's in our office. the printer arrived and we started to install the printer with the disk provided which was HP8600. After an hour of difficulty in setting it on our secure network we ran a information page, only to find out that it was an HP8610 requiring different software from all of our other printers. We downloaded the appropriate software for the HP8610, installed it on the secure network and it runs like a clock. It would appear that HP8610 software was installed in the HP8600 and sold as a new printer.
