Trim it.
This trim system works great. It does however need improvement with mounting bolts to be made stainless instead of mild steel. I would have reused the original however the unit is designed for the bolts included. Took a few hours to run down good quality hardware. I recommend you find the new bolts prior to replacing unit. The trim system was removed from the motor for installation. An design by mercury marine finest engineers. Other than hardware and difficulty by motor design I would have this a full 5 stars but wish I could give it a true 4 1/2 for the trim

Chauvet Or Not ???
Hazer works great, however don't expect the owners manual to be much help. I took me a while to ID all operations and not sure yet about dmx. I plan to hook to obey 70 to finish testing. I did find out the unusual smell when first started is normal for this product. I am not sure I would recommend this product. The only reason I tried it was low cost factor for an already maxed budget for this year.

Works great but designed for old style rgb lights.
Will not be satisfactory if you try on 7 channel dmx.
Using the unit I bought on led par 64 for easier uplighting. Wish my pan lights were this easy but I use Obey 70 for those effects
