The perfect ninja camera!
4 of 4 found this helpful After 15 years of Canon DSLRS, and 1.5 years with Fuji... this is just perfect for me. Small, light, tilt screen, fast EVF, and.... ABSOLUTELY SILENT SHUTTER. Not SORT OF quiet like a Fuji... silent. No sound at all.
The AF is fast, the customization of the buttons is great, the Sony and Zeiss AF lenses I have are amazing and Full Frame. Glorious, beautiful, amazing high ISO capable Full Frame.
Its like mixing the image quality of my Canon Full Frame DSLRS and the body, size, and usability of the Fujis.
The only caveat I would add for some people is that the character of the RAW files is different than my Canon and Fuji. There is a nice, very filmey like "grain" to it... sure it's noise, but it looks very attractive.
Character.
The Canon FF files I have used over the years are much more "Creamy" Or "Smooth".... this is rougher but still very beautiful.
I have no reservations about it, and enjoy it immensely.
Also, using manual focus legacy lenses on it is a blast. Very easy, very usable, very fun.
The ONE complaint I have is not really a complaint... just something that will take time and practice to get through... and that is the menus are not very intuitive or handy... they seem very strangely organized and hard to navigate quickly... time and practice has already helped me navigate faster, but for the most part I am able to program all the things I need too buttons or dials and I don't NEED the menus...but occasionally I do and its awkward.
But that is not a deal breaker AT ALL.
note: I do not use video at all. I have no experience with using this camera for video.

A real sleeper! Amazing lens for not much money!
This lens is VERY sharp, VERY fast, and has great contrast and color! For the price, It is an AWESOME deal!
