Warm nights ahead

So far this has exceeded my expectations. We have only used it on warmish nights for effect rather than warmth, but I think it will be more than adequate to keep the chill away in cooler times. The whole thing is easy set up and comes supplied with a quick fitting regulator to fit a Propane gas bottle. I swapped this for a Butane regulator as I only have a Butane bottle at the moment. The flames are easily adjustable and the coals once they warm up also add to the heat. The only minor niggle that I have concerns the amount of coals supplied. If you only use the 2 recommended bags it barely covers the burner but using the top up bag gives enough to fill the bowl better.. The whole thing packs away quite neatly with the aid of the lid/cover and carrying strap, no need to disassemble the coals when packing away. Some kind of clamp for the pipe hose would have been nice to help keep it in place once wrapped around the base. Although I wouldn't recommend using it for cooking on, we did toast marshmallows and Hot Dogs on skewers with no problems. All in all a well made product and we are looking forward to more cosy nights under the stars.
