it was broken
well when i opened the box the clear piece on the bottom was broken in 2 pieces ,i decided not to send it back ,i wasnt sure if it be replaced or not ,i super glued it back togeather ,and it seems to be holding ,it came with working batteries ,it does work though for the reason i bought it it clearly zooms i just hope it lasts
