Wait a while before giving a review of the purchase.

I installed my hard drive it went in smoothly. The PC booted up fast and I thought that I made a great purchase but then the problems started. The computer programs would stop and I'd get the blue circle [known as the Microsoft blue screen of death. I tried getting paid software anti-virus, that didn't work. Then I took it to a computer professional. He said that the motherboard was defective. I had sent a glowing customer report but I spoke to soon, now I will await a while before giving a favorable report. Lesson learned.

No software, machine still not functioning.

I purchased the product based upon the reputation of HP. I understood that the scanner was a reconditioned scanner and that it was of an older design where now scanners are part of multifunction machines, scanners, printers and fax machines. One of the main reasons for purchasing this model was that the software and drivers were to be included on a c/d disk. The disk was not included in the box. I have had to down load the drivers from the internet. Unfortunately, the drivers and software will not download to allow the machine to function at this time. I may have to purchase the software on a c/d separately from HP. In all, I am quite disappointed in this purchase.
