Really worth the hype
I used to sneer at the whole Bose mystique: Why would anybody pay that much for a set of speakers? Well, this is why: The sound is beautiful, and this is coming from admittedly a low-tech (comparatively) model that lacks an equalizer. (That dojammie that changes the treble and bass.)
This system is in a sort of alcove off a large open space, and manages to fill the room without sounding tinny or being played at a neighbor-irritating volume. I love it to pieces!
Also, because I have a newer iPhone with a lightning connector, I had to get a bluetooth adapter (about $20). This lets my son's Android use the Bose as well.
