WS-C3850-48P-L is a bargain you can hardly pass up!

For the current bang/buck ratio, this is a killer deal. On average, you will find what was once a $5,000 to $7,000 switch for around $150. The WS-C3850-48P-L is a high-speed Gigabit switch with PoE+ meaning that you can provision up to 30W output for each port. With dual power supplies, you can use them as redundant or for maximum capacity of 1440W across all 48 ports. It is completely managed and you can use either command line or web interface. It is L3 switching so that you can handle several VLAN's on separate IP network segments. At the current eBay price, you cannot go wrong. Sure, the model line is almost 10 years old, but who cares when you get this level of performance for such a great price! My attitude is, even with some cosmetic issues, if it dies, just buy another. You are not going to find any other high-capacity, high speed managed switch for around $150 The attached pictures show a modestly integrated rack. It's not prom-date material, but it suits me.

Great value if you try to get mileage our of your old 8850

So trying to find spare parts for a 9 year old printer is difficult at best. This unit that I purchased was indeed new, pulled from new gear. It had the factory shipping tape on the plastic! I put it in and in and it was like having a new printer! I was able to feed checks and the occasional envelope again. I was so happy that i did not have to buy a new machine to get this bypass feeder function again.
