almost looks like a factory setup

It doesn't obstruct view of plate fits around trim plate slim small compact design. wires up pretty easy wiring is best grounded seperately take my advice. I had to troubleshoot a few times you can splice trigger wire into power wire but i wouldn't advise gounding in tail light circuit. If you run into camera feed to monitor/headunit cutting out when turning on headlight/tail light or when depressing brake pedal then ground the negative wire to body like the tail light bolt it will save you time versus using the ground in the tail light harness.
