Love my Blurple PM2
What a wonderful knife. I bought my sons Para 3 lightweights for Christmas (they are young adults). They were wonderful knives but I wanted something a little bigger and that carried deeper. The Blurple scales are a plus. They look great and Spyderco fans know you’ve got the premium steel.
I also wanted the upgrade to S110V. Sharpening this is a challenge but diamonds and some form of guided sharpening is key. I ended up buying the Hapstone T1 to use with my DMT DuoSharp bench stones.
This is a super slicey knife. My Chaparral is a better Gentleman’s knife but when I’m wearing jeans or need a tool that handles hard work, this answers the call. I wouldn’t want to baton with it or pretend it is a survival tool, but for a broad range of EDC it can’t be beat.
Finally, the PM2 is an awesome fidget toy. I’ve developed a callous on my finger where I engage the compression lock - LOL. I recently bought and returned a Benchmade Bugout. While the Axis lock is a great design and usually has a high fidget factor, the Bugout was almost as stiff as my Chaparral and it just feels like a cheap knife. The PM2 always feels like the awesome tool and value it is.

Love it!
I finally bought a Cold Steel knife. I own several Spyderco, Benchmade, OTC (R1D2) along with a bunch of knives before I became a knife nerd.
I carry tip up in left pocket while right handed. I was hoping This would be a great beater knife. However the value proposition is way better than I hoped.
S35VN is a great steel and this knife has an awesome factory edge that shaves out of the box. The banter locking system is way more fidgety than normal I expected. It is obviously ambidextrous but the knife is fall shut. Fall-shut with your finger in the path can be scary if you keep your finger up front it catches the finger choir nothing bad happens.
Compared to R1D2 and PM2, this is the value killer.

2 Thumbs Up
Everyone told me to buy the genuine Motorcraft coils. I can’t prove they are worth the extra $$$$. However, they made a huge difference in the performance of my Expedition.
Mileage is up close to 2 MPG. Well it is after I let my right foot enjoy the new juice for the first day or two. I had changed the plugs at 115k miles and improvement was modest. At 117k miles I put the new coils in. Should have done this 10-15k miles ago. I will say removing the rear coils was much easier this time but wish I had changed coils at same time as plugs and just done this PITA job once.
