Small and electronically efficient at maintaining a battery
I have had this for a few weeks now, and I must say I found exactly what I needed. There may be smaller, cheaper versions of the specific specs used in this charger, but to be safe I paid the extra money to get a proven battery charger that does not make you constantly worry if you have it connected too long or not long enough. With this Battery Tender Plus I can leave it connected and know my battery isn't being fried from overcharging. I don't drive my car as much as I used too so if you don't keep it maintained it will not start your car if it's been a while or it will be dead from too many times from charging it from a low-charge state to full-charge state. And if your state is hot it will shorten the life even shorter. Battery Tender Plus charges when it needs to and doesn't when the battery is fully charged. A great help in maintaining your car.

Plexus cleans plastic well, even wax. And as a Mustang owner, it is nearly impossible to not rub some wax on the trim that runs around the bottom of the car. I expected more of a shine after using it, but if it says it leaves a protective coat on the plastic, it doesn't necessarily mean it leaves a shiny coat. As far as cleaning the plastic, it is excellent.

Large enough for my 17 inch Dell laptop, quiet enough to forget it's there.
I was looking at the laptop coolers, and some use 5 fans. I can't imagine them being quiet enough for me to use at night while my wife is sleeping. This particular Zalman laptop cooler is a company that knows cooling, and it uses 1 large but whisper quiet fan. My laptop has internal fans that come on when the laptop gets hot, and they sound like one of those old air conditioners the motels used to use (or still do). Sometimes I have to stick my hand under the laptop to check if it is working it is so quiet. It also raises the laptop at an angle so you can see the keyboard without problem, about 1 1/2 inches in back, and 3/4 of an inch in front. My laptop fans still come on, but it is much less than they used to and not at full speed. It is a good laptop cooler, I'm glad I chose it instead of a cheaper one.
