Does the job I bought it for
1 of 1 found this helpful I wanted to connect all my various sound and vision boxes over wired Ethernet rather than WIFI but I'd run out of 13amp sockets near my HIFI cabinet and didn't want to plug an extension into an extension. I figured out that I could use one of the USB ports on my AV amplifier to power this little box. A couple of week's in, it's still working perfectly but there are a couple of things to be aware of:
- The included power supply has US/Asian pins and is not suitable for the UK without an adapter. Generally, these Chinese PSUs have a tendency to fail quickly so, personally, I would buy a dedicated UK PSU rather than an adapter if this is how you want to power it.
- There's a micro USB lead included, despite words that seemed to indicate the opposite.

Most cost-effective hi-fi upgrade ever
These sorbothane feet adsorb vibrations conducted into your equipment and reduce feedback. They are especially useful if your source or amp are close to your speakers. Advantages:
- Different sizes mean you can use them under all sorts of equipment (source, amp, speakers)
- Very cost-effective
Disadvantages:
- Tend to leave a mark on glass shelves that's difficult to shift.

The World's Worst Design
2 of 3 found this helpful This vacuum cleaner is poorly designed and, although, still working has now been taken to the tip. It's biggest flaw is that it's too small. If the same design were upscaled, it would probably work better:
- It's not stable so once you start cleaning, it falls on its side regularly. This exacerbates the clogging problem below.
- The dust cylinder is too small. As a consequence, the dust rises into the top of the cylinder and clogs the filter so that it stops picking up within minutes. I have literally spent more time cleaning the filters of this machine than I have spent cleaning with it.
