Frail Humans in a severe land
Badger, Eagle, Pig, all in different landscapes of the southwest. Love the geographic angle. Lying witnesses, sophmoric antics perceived as deadly attacks, sleaze & dignity, all sorts of people in these novels. Our heros sort through the falseness to find the truth. Other novels were duplicates of those I had before. Government takes it on the chin, which considering history of navajo hopi & sioux, is justified. My family has been pushed around by the government, & we didn't even get trapped on a reservation.
