Good Switch for Home Electronics that can't be Powered On/Off
This switch was purchased for a new television set that is not equipped with its own power-off switch. The TV is always powered-on when plugged into the wall socket much like a cable or satellite set top box. I prefer to have a physical disconnect switch on all electronic equipment. In this case a power bar was too cumbersome. This switch is small and unobtrusive and splices into the TV power cord. It is a two-conductor switch that makes/breaks the line and neutral conductors and passes the ground conductor through so the TV is completely isolated when switched-off. It is well-made.
