Great value, terrible setup app
I have a 2400 sq ft home across 2 levels which should only need about 3 nodes, but my house is solid concrete. I ended up buying 6 nodes and running an ethernet backhaul between 4 of the nodes to get the desired performance. It works great, I have great coverage throughout the house with no dead zones and no drops between zones.
Setting up the nodes initially or adding on nodes is extremely cumbersome and frustrating. The app is simple - meaning their are very few options and no way to manually add information. Setup took about 10-15m each, but with some of the nodes I had to repeat the process 4 or 5 times - even with the nodes next to each other and the phone right next to the one I was setting up. I have never had so much trouble setting up a router or access point and it was beyond frustrating having no control over whatever it was trying to do.
That said, once set up it works well.
