Diamond in the rough: Goldwin Driver!
I have an interest in successful designs by companies that just couldn't seem to break into the 'biz' mind set of the market. As in Nickent hybrid clubs which had a great reputation on the Tour but disappeared. All the reviews of Goldwin, that one can find, are of a well made product.
It's diamond like design caught my eye. A great price sealed the deal.
My Cleveland Launcher DST and Cobra AMP D have longer and more flexible shafts and larger club heads , but the 10 year old technology of the Goldwin's aluminum head is my straightest club off the tea. I'm at the range 3 times a week and I always start my drive practice with the Goldwin. The Cleveland and Cobra, in my hands, are longer but the Goldwin is much more consistent for me down the line.

Highly recommended.
Direct, concise, clear description and explanation of the geometry and physics of golf. The ink drawings display the athletic function of the swing elegantly. After watching hours of golf video of the great players, even in slo mo, these simple drawings capture the dynamic moments of the swing far better for me. And the formal writing style reminds me of the early sports books of my youth.
Who better to explain elements of the dynamic golf swing than one of the sport's pioneers.
