Huge improvement over electronic leak detectors
Ideally use as last step in combination with:
(1) Emerson sight glass (enables visual confirmation of very low system internal moisture concentration BEFORE next step),
(2) Spectroline UV leak detection dye and
(3) NuCalgon AC Easy Dry which converts tiny amount of internal moisture into a lubricant.
Since the EasySeal is activated to solidify by exposure to water (humidity in the surrounding air outside the freon lines) at any point of leak, it is crucial that the Freon system be extremely free of water prior to the EasySeal injection.
While these proactive steps add some cost up front, they easily pay for themselves in greatly extended system reliability, freedom from breakdown due to loss of freon (which also circulates all lubrication back to the compressor and cools the compressor) via automatic sealing of inevitable freon leaks over time.
Any larger leaks (beyond the ability of the EasySeal to automatically seal) are made obvious by the Spectroline UV dye, greatly reducing costs of locating all leaks and facilitating far more rapid repair.

Great, except for storage of ALL attachments
Another excellent example of functional design and quality of manufacturing from Dyson.
Dyson products may look funky and be expensive compared to many much less expensive alternatives however, considering both efficacy and functionality, Dyson products routinely blow away the competition, especially over time.
While not maintenance free (what is?, including all living creatures), with regular emptying and care after EVERY use, they last and work and work.
Occasional thorough cleaning is highly important (compressor powered blow gun or thorough washing with detergent followed by fully drying) as is inherently required for ANY and EVERY device designed to remove and collect dirt, debris, etc.
We own and continue to use a DC15, DC16, DC34, 2 x AM06 fans and now the UP20, used at home & work, occasionally other places and all continue to perform well (though on the 3rd battery set for the DC16 and replacement filters for the DC15 & DC16).
Would love to have a V8 complete but still too expensive and do not like the not easy to DIY battery.
My only recurring complaint about the more complete Dyson vacuums is the absence of included ways to store & protect ALL the included accessories, a continuing big failing for Dyson.
