I use the DeSantis Apache daily for my 0.40 S&W M&P Shield. The holster keeps the weapon secure in a elastic pocket which covers the trigger to prevent any mishap. The lambswool cushion keeps the sharp edges from digging into your leg. I would recommend using a calf sock for added comfort. the large velcro-type pad latches securely and generally will ride all day without any adjustment. I would have liked the bottom to cover the end of the barrel like a pocket instead of open at the end, but the weapon doesn't show when your pants ride up while sitting. Never tried to run with it on but I think it would perform reasonably well. I know a lot of CCH don't like ankle holsters, but for this overweight business casual kinda guy, it is the best option. The unit doesn't print with normal slacks or Khakis. There might be better ankle holsters out there, but this one is a good performer and a good value. I would definitely but this again.

Ho Ho Hold all your presents

Nice heavy weight crimson material. Big enough if your delivering packages yet not so big that it is in the way. I use it to carry a couple of stuffed animals... Mary the Christmoose and a reindeer puppet help calm the crying child. the draw string doesn't close the opening very easily but just tie the rope around the opening like Santa does.
