Very Funny based on historic facts
Well worth watching - a period movie filmed in England in 1949, detailing a true event during the Second World War in the northern islands of Scotland. Very funny if you take the time to read up on the actual account of the sinking of the SS Politician with tens of thousands of crates of whiskey in the hold. Especially humorous for Whiskey lovers.

Raid On Rommel
1 of 1 found this helpful A very good, well acted movie with veteran actors of their day. Color is good and the story gripping if not a bit far fetched for anyone who knew the reality of the desert campaign against Rommel in WW2. Nevertheless we know in the end the British where triumphant in crushing the German Africa Corp. in the desert campaign. The movie holds your attention to the end and is very entertaining.

Very useful to light up a dark area while being some distance away.
