Citizen Promaster Marine Automatic Dive Watch NY0086-16L

Great watch

I bought this watch after helping my brother in law with the purchase of a Tudor dive watch. The concept of a water resistant watch with an automatic movement hit home. Never have to open it to change batteries! I have other quartz watches that I have changed batteries in and now they no longer have guaranteed water resistance. This watch in a different color (all black) was/is the issue watch of the Italian Navy for their divers. They tested it to 500 meters! Passed! Mine gains about 3 seconds per day. Since I’m not launching military missions or anything that critical I’m extremely pleased with the performance of the watch. I’ll set it about once a month. Oh, and it has a caliber 8204 movement that is hacking and hand winding, too! The band is kinda long for me so I ordered a solid stainless steel oyster band for it.

Great replacement for my old one

Our dog chewed up the zipper on my old Free Country and I searched for a replacement. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Good but not sealed

The batteries seem to be fresh but they came taped into a portion of the original package that had been cut from a larger multi-pack. The tape left residue I had to remove and I have no idea what the expiration date is.
