Genuine Carb, runs great, but it was the spark arrestor that was making my leaf blower bog down
1 of 1 found this helpful It was a genuine Stihl part, installed easy and fired right up. I'm happy. Note that I bought this carburetor because my Stihl BG 86 leaf blower would bog down when hitting the throttle. Mine is several year old. The problem ended up not being the carb. It was the spark arrestor which is screwed into the muffler. It has a screen that eventually clogs and restricts the exhaust, thus keeping the blower from running correctly. I just took mine off and it runs better than new.
