liked the book much better
Bought the DVD because I am a fan of Preston and Child, the authors of the book upon which the movie was based. I need subtitles to understand the dialogue, and the DVD only offers them in French. The lighting in the film is way too dark to see in the daylight and the film is way too scary to see in the dark. NONE OF THIS IS THE FAULT OF THE SELLER.

Cast aluminum is not very strong
I ordered two lamp fixtures but only had one base prepared. While assembling the three-piece pole, it rolled off the table, tearing the middle section like cardboard. (I swapped in a part from the second fixture and installed it.) I think some JB weld will make the other one serviceable, but a small child or a large squirrel can damage it by leaning on it.--TJS
