Great bargain for a first board

Caution!
Overall this is a good product. I used it on my pontoon boat, and it works well. The only issue that you should be aware of is this was not intended for use on pontoons or other faster moving boats. The extension on the mount will cause drag, when moving fast. Not sure if this unit will endure this extreme pressure.

Will not give binocular vision!
The optics on this are pretty good, and it can be used to take out splinters, and work on other small items. However the primary drawback is that you cannot focus based on the design with both eyes at the same time. The focal length from the item to the eyepiece is so close, that you can only use each eye magnifier separately. There is some adjustment possible, but not enough to see in stereo. That said it is still a useful tool for the price
