Unreliable and stopped working 1 month after receiving.
2 of 2 found this helpful When I bought this item it was working fine up until the start of April, I never moved it, touched it or the cable connecting it until it started to not work for some reason. After 2 hours of searching possible fixes I moved the cable and to my surprise it started working again. Deciding the cable may be faulty and this was the only device i had that took this cable i ordered a new one off of amazon. Using the new cable and pluging it back up it had the same problems the original did and i noticed the inside port that connects to the cable is wobbly and is having connective issues. Personally feel like this hard drive was sloppily worked on and was not properly refurbished, for just $10 more i could have gotten a new one that may have had less capacity but wouldn't be having these problems.
I do not recommend ordering one of these products, and no i will not return this item as i put some personal data on it and would prefer to not risk someone copying it.
