Learning curve ahead.
2 of 2 found this helpful The Canon 90 TS-E is a solidly built, impressively sharp lens with smooth bokeh due to its Gaussian optical design. The lens is versatile, both as a portrait lens or with extension tubes for macro use. As an amateur, I may face a steep learning curve before I can more fully appreciate its potential. Tilt feature may be more useful in Canon's shorter focal length tilt/shift models.

Continued excellence from Canon
Excellent build, high image quality and reputedly low lens-to-lens variability make the 100-400 L II a great photographic tool. The lens is larger and heavier than I normally prefer but beyond a limited range of lens focal lengths some compromise or adaptation to size and weight is often required of the photographer.

Excellent build, IQ and versatility.

"One of the best general purpose macro lenses, Canon’s 100mm Macro is small enough to hand hold and fast enough to work well without a flash. It also functions well as a superbly sharp short telephoto lens. A number of people use it as an alternative ‘long’ portrait lens".
