Great for Metal Buildings
One of the down sides of metal siding is the loss of cellular communications. We live in an all-metal 1700 square foot home with a 600 square foot attached garage. This little repeater does a good job of transponding the 850 mhz band into and out of the buildings. Seems to work well for CDMA and GSM signals and even repeats the 3G and 4G data comms.
One little note: Make sure the indoor antenna is located close to the center of the workspace. As others have pointed out, the range between your phone and this antenna is somewhat limited. Doing so gives us usable coverage anywhere in the two structures.
