Works sorta, but is disastrous.
1 of 1 found this helpful Firstly the IR Sensor accepts signal from TV remotes so when I change the volume, it makes the HDMI adapter go crazy and change the signal. Also, PS4 and Xbox One does NOT like this adapter. When you either turn the TV on or the console on first, it does not reliably activate on the input via the adapter. I find it only works when you unplug the HDMI out and then plug it in again... then it accepts the signal. Strange the Nintendo Switch is the only one that works smoothly, and that’s if the adapter isn’t taking a pout from all the different devices trying to communicate with it at the same time. Finally, the remote mine came with 100% doesn’t work, and that’s depressing. I am glad the adapter has a manual button to change the signal, but my tv tells me no signal is being received, even though there are two consoles that are on and plugged in, that aren’t showing up. I suspect that the consoles cannot properly validate the visual delivery to my TV through the adapter reliably. The Switch does, and even then, once I change the TV volume, the screen goes black and I look to find a different light has been turned on on the input idicator. It’s a disaster user experience, that makes me need to buy a more expensive and reliable HDMI adapter box, and to hope that it is possible to seamlessly switch between 3 or maybe 5 devices... o well...
