St Francis book of daily prayers

I love this little book- it is a short version of the daily office. The daily office is the prayers that are said every 3 hours in Catholic & Anglican monasteries & convents. This book has prayers for just the morning & evening Sunday- Saturday, it takes about 10 minutes to say the prayers & they can be said by ones self or with others. Truly a wonderful little book!

I have to say I liked the old ones better. Because this one has a wide-mouth feeder option it also has a fail-safe brake on it to prevent your hand from getting eaten up which is sensible, but the brake is this thin piece of plastic which must slide in the feeder cover & looks like it will break off very quickly. I like the slicing option which is a slider instead of separate slicing blades.The feeder is harder to clean than it used to be in the one I had from 2010. All in all, I wish they had not "improved" it.

These pillars are large enough to burn for hours & still last all advent! They are pretty& smooth& the color is good.
