Flash Drive on Steroids
The Lexar SSD is perfect when needing a portable work space and data storage device. I use cloud services but I prefer the security of an off-line hard drive. However, most portable hard drives are too fragile while flash drives are typically too small. I use this handy Lexar SSD as my main digital work bench. It's got a usable 470 gig which is plenty of space for audio and video data projects in the works. It can be dropped into the pocket and used on the road with the laptop. Speaking of dropping, if it hits the floor, it's not likely to be damaged so there is a good degree of safety. So, there's no better option. In the future these will get bigger and cheaper, but the 512g Lexar is pretty close to perfection now. It's certainly very practical. If your computer gets broken or hacked, your files are completely safe. I now use the cloud primarily for file sharing. I highly recommend The Lexar SSD.

Necessary when TV has no analog output.
1 of 1 found this helpful It does the job with no problems. Some new TV's have no analog audio outputs. I think it's a foolish omission since many people with vintage sound systems like to integrate their TV. Competitive forces can discourage purchase of those TV models which may otherwise be a perfect choice. Fortunately FiiO has the solution. I commend them for their foresight. It's a low cost solution that seems to be a good performer. I actually purchased the FiiO before the new TV knowing my choice had no analog audio jacks. I'm very pleased with the results. If your situation is the same, I highly recommend this.

Very Limited Fit
The ASM1 seems solid and effective. The rubber is robust and has a very good grip on the mic. The body however, is the same as less expensive mounts. The size of the microphone is limited to an exact fit of the rubber mounting rings. the mic must be a pencil type with no varied diameter on the body. It can also be difficult to attach to the mic due to the tight fit. Once it is in place, it seems to be a reliable and effective unit so check the size before purchasing.
