The chip is easy to install, but you have to take the laptop almost completely apart to access the chip. Pretty much like changing any other CPU

Good Upgrade
The 100 GB upgrade enabled me to run programs that required more disk space than the default 40 GB without slowing my machine to a crawl as is the case when disk is full or near full. The Inspiron 6000 still has many uses if you are not concerned with processor speed. Although I upgrade the RAM and the Processor the Disk upgrade provided the most improvement.

Not Hdmi connectors
What I thought were two HDMI connectors, were actually DISPLAY connectors and my HDMI cables did not fit. However the card's DVI connector is all I actually needed. This is a great card at a great price and I am well satisfied with my purchase.
