Useful adapter
A sturdy, well built and very well priced adapter. A handy addition to the toolbox.

Misleadingly bright
2 of 2 found this helpful Purchased as a replacement for the halogen candles in my main beam headlights, these looked to be just the job. Having already replaced the dipped beam units with 72watt LEDs, I thought these 126watt bulbs would be a perfect accompaniment.
They arrived in a strong, white cardboard box. Both bulbs were visible through the transparent top window along with an in-line driver/controller box which was labeled, worryingly, as just "35watts".
After fitting the bulbs to the car - a job of only a few minutes - I switched on the headlights.
The light is a strong, white beam. easily as bright to my eye as the other set of bulbs. As I have no means to test the actual power consumption of either set, I will have to assume the driver/controller box is incorrectly labeled.
I cannot yet comment on the longevity of these units but after running for a few minutes, the heatsinks were barely warm so the cooling arrangement appears to be satisfactory.

Gave new life to an old Shuttle XPC
I couldn't bring myself to dump my ageing Shuttle XPC but it was running a single core AMD Athlon and could barely run Windows XP without regular reboots.
After a brief search on eBay I bought this motherboard, a Core 2 Quad CPU and 4GB of RAM. A few ancillary components also needed changing but were also sourced on eBay.
Everything worked first time and I now have a fully Windows 10 capable workhorse. I'd call that a result!
