Kluson 3x3 double ring tuners
Bought these to replace an ageing set of Gotoh tuners on an old Burny Les Paul.
Very well made, authentic look tuners with a great gear ratio, hold there tuning very well.
Would recommend as good as if not better quality than Gotoh Tuners. Excellent Product.

DOD 280 Compressor
I've tried out quite a few compressor pedals in my rig over the years but this little orange box has to be the best I've come across so far.
Doesn't colour your sound like the dyna comp style compressors do & just as important, doesn't add much background noise at all. Not expensive as far as optical compressors go & very solidly built.
It just makes everything sound bigger & smoother & without spending hundreds more comes highly recommended for a live use unit. DOD got this one right, good job!

Vans on Alnico 2 57 Humbucker Set
5 of 5 found this helpful Got these to replace a set of pups from a 1980 Burny Les Paul. I have to say, they were much better than the price would have you believe! Solid bass, well behaved mids & no screech in the highs in either neck or bridge positions. Not too hot which means they can do the clean thing very well which is what I was chasing.
These pups replaced a DiMarzio PAF in the neck & a Seymour Duncan SH4 in the bridge & they sound far more articulate & vintage than the big names in this guitar.
