Amazing author, Nelson DeMille

Love the books by Nelson DeMille!! I have reading them over the last few weeks. Just cannot get enough Nelson DeMille! He is an excellent writer. I especially enjoy the John Corey books, but love them all. The author is strangely prophetic. Things he has written about years ago, now seem to be happening in similar ways. The book, Night Fall, is an example of this. The author not only spins an intriguing story line but has marvelous humor sprinkled in occasionally. As I am reading, late at night, in bed, I often find myself laughing out loud there all by myself. Keep writing Nelson DeMille! Loved the latest novel, Radiant Angel.

Enesco Jim Shore Heartwood Creek Canadian Santa Figurine, 7.25 Inch, Multicolor

Poor quality of painting on Santa figurine.

I have been terribly disappointed in the Canadian Santa. I am a very old Jim Shore customer. Started buying pieces many years ago. Had all of the large angels and all the Christmas Song Santas. I moved to a very small senior retirement apartment and really had no room for all the large pieces so I ended up selling them. I decided to just have a collection of the smaller Santas Around the World and have several that depict part of my heritage. I wanted the Canadian Santa as my father was born in Canada. I was shocked to see the quality in the craftsmanship of the Canadian Santa. The factory in China that is producing these pieces apparently does no exercise the quality control of older pieces. The Canadian Santa is very poorly painted! The maple leaves around the Santas robe skirt is so poorly painted that it is hard to tell they are maple leaves and there are many other places where it is poorly painted. When I have purchased other Santas from the Around the World collection, I remove them the boxes and packaging and store them wrapped in bubble wrap for storage. I would have returned the Canadian Santa if I had not already thrown away the box and packaging. I did not notice the poor painting until I no longer had the box and packaging. Live and learn!

Great Jim Shore quality!

I have had my eye on this Santa for a couple of years. I am delighted to finally receive it. I have several others in this series. Love them all.
