It Does the Intended Job. There are Replacements if Item 'Wanders'.
Arrived early. Product is same as in the old sewing kits distributed for promotional use.

Design flaw - basket does not sit far enough over bottom to avoid two pieces slipping apart
Design Flaw: the steam/vegetable basket does not sit far enough down over bottom to avoid separation of the two pieces and possibility of burn when take in/out of microwave. Have same style where piece holding vegetables is shorter and slides further down on piece with boiling water. It is very difficult to hold these parts together in one hand and bottom portion handles are too small to avoid fingers touching very hot bottom when remove from microwave.My Old Same-Style Perfect Steamer (which is perfect!) (2003) was smaller in circumference, shorter and had larger handles to prevent burning hand when removing from microwave. I love my old steamer SO much that I would ship to be copies except for postage costs.
